FAVORITE READING SITES
TIPS TO CONSIDER WHEN CHOOSING A BOOK FOR CHAPTER CHIT CHAT
1) avoids explicit sex
2) swearing is minimal
3) a conflict worth discussing (and this is where many YA novels get in trouble, because they are mainly just fun reads and have no connection to adult life.)
4) does NOT have to be liked by everyone (some of the best discussions happen when half the group hates the book)
5) is thought-provoking (it makes you think about something in a different way)
6) classics tend to be safe choices, but not always discuss-able.

Lucky girls!! I got a stocking full of candy and a matchbox Volvo car. I would love to get books for Christmas!! I am not complaining or anything, don't worry about me. We had a great Christmas.
I didn't get any books for Christmas! If I want a book I've got to go get it myself! I did buy some cookbooks over the holidays, and a crochet books...do they count? The one I'm really excited about is the Dr. Seuss cookbook(on a hook..just kidding). Ken says he can't wait for me to make some "Who Hash".
